Creative Department Hiring

The State News Creative Department fills all design needs at  The State News and SNworks. We are a collaborative group working in various areas of design. The different types of design we do are:

• Editorial - designing page layouts for our daily paper; working on infographics; creating editorial illustrations for the paper and the website
• Advertising - designing print and web ads for advertisers
• Marketing - designing promotions for The State News and SNworks (our digital agency)
• Web Design - designing websites for our SNworks clients

Designers in the department work in all of these different areas throughout their time at The State News.

No specific previous work experience is required but knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a big plus. A passion for design is definitely required!

This is an hourly position with shifts ranging from M-F, 9 am - 8 pm and some shifts on Sunday afternoons. We know you are students, so your schedule will be flexible around your classes.
