Big Ten Tournament vs. Minnesota

The MSU men’s basketball team dropped its opener of the Big Ten Tournament against Minnesota on Friday, 72-67, at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Spartans haven’t won the Big Ten Tournament since 2000.

The MSU women’s basketball team beat Michigan, 61-50, Friday in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. The No. 2-seed Spartans (22-8 overall) advance to Saturday’s semifinal against Iowa.
