Morgan and Allen out with injuries
Senior forward Raymar Morgan and junior guard Chris Allen will not play in today’s men’s basketball preseason opener against Northwood due to injuries, MSU athletic communications director Matt Larson said about 10 minutes prior to the 4 p.m. tip.
Morgan, who was on crutches, suffered a sprained ankle during Thursday’s practice, Larson said. Allen suffered a groin injury Saturday.
Larson said Allen is expected to be able to practice next week, while Morgan is to be determined.
