Women's cross country finishes 16th at NCAA Championships

The MSU women’s cross country team took home a 16th place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Spartans were led by sophomore Sara Kroll, who placed 51st overall with a time of 20:37.4. Sophomore teammate Julia Otwell finished right behind her with a time of 20:47.6 to place 69th.

The Spartans finished with 386 points to place in the top 20 for the 10th time in program history.
