By Brittany Shammas (Last updated: 11/05/09 11:21pm)

Lot 7 accident causes $900 of damage

A minor traffic accident Tuesday in Lot 7 left two vehicles with significant scratches, causing $900 of damage, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The first vehicle, a 2000 Workhorse van driven by a Lansing man, veered too far to the right while driving through the lot, causing it to scrape against a parked 2005 Toyota Camry, leaving a 36-inch scrape on the van’s passenger side and a 24-inch scrape on the Camry’s front bumper, McGlothian-Taylor said.

The driver of the van was found at fault for the accident.
