Tracking engine offers E.L. voters a way to monitor absentee ballot
By Elizabeth Brumfield (Last updated: 10/07/09 8:55pm)The new Absentee Voter Online Tracking Engine gives East Lansing residents the ability to check the status of their absentee voter ballot request online.
The application allows residents to track their absentee voter ballot request from the date the application was received to the date the ballot was received by the East Lansing City Clerk’s office.
The ballots can be tracked at the cityofeastlansing.com/avote.
Absentee ballot applications for the Nov. 3 election are available at cityofeastlansing.com/Home/Departments/CityClerk/ElectionInformation/.
Residents also can visit the East Lansing City Clerk’s office, 410 Abbot Road,
to receive an application, or call (517) 319-6914 with questions.
Voters who want an absentee ballot mailed to them must submit an application by Oct. 31 to the East Lansing City Clerk’s office.
