The MSU W. Basketball Team already is top 5 in attendance in the Nation. The purpose of doing this game at different colleges that are playing in the Tourney is to increase the sales due to lack of ability to attract fans from those colleges in other areas. So, although they intend to improve the atmosphere against a top ranked team like duke, the main priority is to maintain ticket sales. Then why is the Breslin 75% empty during their games? All Sparty is suggesting is to take this opportunity to give away unpurchased tickets to hyper Spartan fans, to have a fun time, beat Duke, and potentially win over future ticket buyers/season ticket holders.
