Free parking, trolley rides an option over St. Patrick's Day weekend
Four downtown parking structures will offer free overnight parking this St. Patrick's Day weekend, as city officials hope to keep the streets free from drunk drivers.

- Evergreen Avenue Parking Lot, 275 Evergreen Ave. (behind Peoples Church); meters only
- Dublin Square Lot, 311 Albert Ave.
- East Lansing City Hall’s West Lot, 415 Abbot Road; public parking spaces only, entrance on west side of Abbot Road
- Bailey Street Parking Garage, 126 Bailey Street; public parking spaces only, entrance on east side of Bailey

In addition to these locations, all downtown parking is free on Sundays.

CATA will also be offering free Entertainment Express trolley service, travelling along Michigan Avenue from East Lansing to Lansing, from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday.
