After the originally scheduled Izzone campout was postponed because of inclement weather, students got their second chance to get their Izzone points for this upcoming basketball season.

Students began gathering at Munn Field in the early hours of the evening to prepare for the long night.

Some setups were more interesting than others, however.

Not long into the evening, students got started with some games to keep themselves entertained.

Some students played various forms of basketball.

While some students played some more interesting games, like “Spike Ball,” which kinesiology freshman Grant Wallace said is "kind of like volleyball, except you just hit the ball on the trampoline."

Aside from the fun and games, students had to find ways to stay warm through the long night.

"I brought two pairs of socks, two coats and a winter hat," biosystems engineering sophomore Jacob Duckworth said. "In reality, though, I'm not staying warm."

For some students, this wasn’t their first time fighting through the cold to hold onto their Izzone points.

There was a short lull in the middle of the evening as students left the cold to watch the hockey game.

After the game was over and the students were ready for the rest of the night, the festivities got going again.

In addition to the night's most popular game making its return, mechanical engineering and elementary special education sophomores Jamie Ogranaj and Caroline Dimas and their friends decided to take up some Halloween-themed activities.

After the students had gotten cold enough, head basketball coach Tom Izzo and his players arrived at Munn Field.

In addition to games, several players joined the crowd and danced with the students.

With another Izzone campout in the books, students now have basketball season to look forward to, where the Spartans look for another successful season under Izzo.
