Sparticipation has been officially rescheduled.
The much-anticipated event, geared heavily towards getting freshmen involved on campus, will now take place at the Breslin Center this Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

But, because of the lack of size in the Breslin Center, what was anticipated to be MSU’s largest Sparticipation in history will now be significantly decreased in size.
“You’ll see, at most, 160 registered student organizations,” Assistant Director for Student Life Fred Watson said.
RSOs will be in different spaces, which is unlike the outdoor event, but most will be in the main floor arena, north and south gyms, he said.
“Students will have to walk through multiple floors to see everything,” Watson said.
Watson said this shouldn’t confuse students because there will be signs up identifying where everything is. Ultimately, he said despite the downsize the event is still worthwhile for the student population.
“It’s an opportunity to get involved with new groups on campus still,” Watson said. “It’s still a recruiting tool for student groups, and there will still be a lot of groups there.”
Watson said spots for RSOs to hold booths and places at the event will be given out at a first-come, first-serve basis, which they do every year.
