MSU has resources throughout campus to fit different student needs. However, there is always room for improvement, some MSU students said.

"I think MSU should have free printing," English sophomore Serena Gupta said. "Also more free resources in a technical sense."

According to the MSU Libraries website, to print using any Print Service printer in the Main Library or computer labs, students must first set up an MSU print account.

The MSU print account allows students to purchase E-tokens using SpartanCash on their student ID or by using a credit card.

"As students I think it's important that we have the free resources ... so we don't have to spend money because it should be included in our tuition," Gupta said.

A black a white laser print page costs 5 cents per side of a page, and color printing costs 40 cents per side of a page.

Gupta said printing gets expensive because the cost adds up fast.

Printing is a resource students can use on a daily basis for printing assignments, notes or even as far as printing a book.

Theatre freshman Cassie Stewart said she thinks it would be better if MSU had free access to workout facilities, such as IM Sports-West and IM-Sports East.

"They do have free sports classes, but that's not actually very helpful," Stewart said.

MSU offers Group Exercise on campus, however it requires buying a membership or paying per class.

It costs $3 daily for Fitness Centers or Group Exercise classes, or students can pay $85 for one semester to access the fitness centers.

Packages are available to purchase for students who are looking for more access to other fitness facilities on campus.

"To have good general health you should be working out three to four times a week,"  Stewart said. "The classes are only a couple times a month."

With all the resources on campus, it can be overwhelming for first-year students finding there way around.

"We have so many resources already," Stewart said. "I wish there was one central place we could go to get all of our resources, or at least a place more advertised."

Nursing senior Kelsey Nuorala has a different take on what should be improved on campus.

"Parking is literally something that we need," Nuorala said. "We need more parking by classes, especially on campus."

Students can park at meters or in the parking ramps, however, parking tickets are common because students run past the time.

"I think that MSU could have more restaurants closer to classes as well," Nuorala said.
