In honor of Mylan Hicks, who was killed earlier this week, the MSU Athletics Department set up a scholarship endowment in his name, according to a press release. The fund, named the Mylan Hicks Memorial Football Scholarship Endowment, was created by a request of Hicks' family and friends.

Hicks was at MSU from 2010-14, where he was a three-year letterwinner under head coach Mark Dantonio.

Gifts can be sent to the scholarship endowment through the mail at: Michigan State University, Spartan Fund, 535 Chestnut Road, Suite 200, East Lansing, MI 48824-4005.

They can also be sent online through spartanfund.net by going to the "Give Now" link and choosing the Mylan Hicks Scholarship Endowment from the drop-down menu.
