Common Ground Music Festival ended with a bang.

Lansing has been jamming out all week to local artists and national headliners such as A$AP Rocky, Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw and Jason Derulo. And by the size of the crowds it seems the festival did not disappoint.

Taylor Taylor, a student at Lansing Community College, was among other local artists who performed on Sunday evening. Taylor performed on the Sparrow Stage.

"After performing the energy from the crowd and on stage stays with me for while, " Taylor said.

Taylor first performed three years ago, last weekend was her second time performing at the festival.

"I think my music falls under the pop umbrella Pop, R&B and Indie Rock," Taylor said. "It's really cool that people can have a connection with my music and with me."

Taylor has one more year at Lansing Community College. She plans to move out to California to focus on her music career.

As fans patiently wait for Jason Derulo to "Wiggle" on to the main stage, Jacob Whitesides and Daya started the party in Lansing. Daya performed her hit songs, "Hide Away" and "Sit still, Look Pretty" along with Whitesides who performed his hit single "Lovesick".

REDD made an appearance on the Sparrow Stage as did Kid Quill. Both rappers performed their own original music about their journey's in life and in the music industry. This is the first time, for both Kid Quill and REDD, at the Common Ground Music Festival.

"I love the vibe of the festival, love the stage, this was an awesome experience," REDD said.

REDD and his DJ are from the Detroit area.

"It's cool going into a crowd that doesn't know your music because you get to leave more impressions, and then they start to grow more fond of my music," REDD said.

In addition to REDD,  Karlos Farrar, Matt B and Bryce Vine all performed on the Pavilion Stage Sunday evening.

Once all the artist from the Pavilion Stage and Sparrow Stage wrapped up their performances, the sun was setting and the excitement for Jason Derulo flooded the festival grounds.

DJ, Jae Murphy hyped up the crowd before Jason Derulo stormed the stage. Jason Derulo's performance started around 10:00 p.m.
