MSU police pull golf cart possibly ridden by Sparty from Red Cedar River

MSU police recovered a golf cart possibly ridden by Sparty from the Red Cedar River yesterday, MSU police Capt. Doug Monette said.

The cart was parked at 5:30 p.m. Sunday and was reported stolen at 11 p.m. that night. After receiving a tip on social media, MSU police were able to pull the cart out of the Red Cedar River just after noon Tuesday.

The cart is valued at $14,100 and there is currently an open investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Davis at 517-355-2226 or davisc@police.msu.edu.
