MSU police investigating case of Sparty Cash fraud

February 24, 2016

MSU police are investigating a case of fraud and are asking for help identifying several persons of interest who allegedly used some one else's Spartan Cash card to make purchases in North Hubbard Hall.

There are four persons of interest that MSUPD Det. James Terrill said he is hoping to identify and interview.

Terrill said any student who loses or has their Spartan Cash card stolen should contact Residential and Hospitality Services to have it deactivated.

Unrelated to the fraud, Terrill said the bulk of thefts he is investigating have occurred in IM Sports-West. He said students should lock their belongings whenever they have the chance.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Terrill at 517-432-1596 or terrillj@police.msu.edu.

The MSU Police Department is asking for your help to identify these subjects as part of a fraud investigation. Anyone...
