MSU football junior safety Mark Meyers pleaded guilty Wednesday to impaired driving following a Sept. 6 incident in East Lansing, the Lansing State Journal reports, citing the Ingham County Prosecutor's office.

Early Sept. 6, Meyers was arrested by MSU police and charged with operating while intoxicated. He will be sentenced for the misdemeanor of impaired driving on Oct. 21 in 54B District Court.

Football coach Mark Dantonio suspended Meyers after the incident in September, although there is now no word on any change in status with the team.
