—Beginning Oct. 13 and ending Friday, Oct. 23, one of the southbound lanes on Harrison Road will be closed between Kalamazoo Street and Shaw Lane.
The lane will be closed to allow construction of a deceleration lane for the new parking deck at 1855 Place, the site for the new Spartan Village Apartments Complex currently named the State Police Post Redevelopment.
Efforts will be made to complete the construction as quickly and efficiently as possible, with one southbound lane remaining open at all times and promises that lane closures will not interfere with traffic caused by home football games, according to a statement.
