The Associated Students of Michigan State University will be hosting an East Lansing City Council election debate and discussion forum.
The debate will take place on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m., in the MSU Union Ballroom.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in the discussion following the debate.
The candidates in attendance will include Jermaine Ruffin, Steve Ross, Mark Meadows, Shanna Draheim, Erik Altmann and Nathan Triplett.
"This event will provide a platform for candidates to explain how they'll address issues facing the City of East Lansing, while allowing students and members of the East Lansing community to meet and learn more about the candidates," ASMSU Vice President for Governmental Affairs Bryn Williams said.
