Service Road to be closed for construction this weekend

July 23, 2015

Starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, construction will begin on the storm water improvement project on Service Road, according to an email sent out by Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF). Traffic flow will be maintained and regulated by flag men on this day.

At 5 p.m. on Friday, July 24, east bound Service Road, between Harrison Road and Farm Lane, will be shut down. It will reopen after paving work is completed on Sunday, July 26, said the email.

All building access drives will be open during the construction, except for the west-most drive into the Angell Building.

Lot 99 will be accessible through the Lot 84 detour starting Friday, July 24 and ending Thursday July 30. All normal road traffic flow will be restored by the morning of Monday, July 27.

Current road closure/detour information is available on the IPF Detour Map web page.
