As a part of a recent series on ESPN — The Top 25 College Football Games of 2014 — fans have voted MSU's 42-41 comeback victory over Baylor in the Cotton Bowl Classic as the No. 1 college football game of 2014.

ESPN’s Stats & Info determined games No. 25 through No. 6 and fan voting determined the order of the top five games.

Ohio State’s 42-35 victory over Alabama, Baylor’s 61-58 victory over TCU, Auburn’s 35-31 over Ole Miss and Florida State’s 31-24 victory over Notre Dame rounded out the top 5 in that order.

ESPN will be rebroadcasting the game on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 10 p.m. on ESPNU. MSU fans can relive the Spartans scoring three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to storm back when it appeared that the game was over.

With football season on the horizon it is not surprising to see ESPN begin showing old games in anticipation of the new season. The team opens the 2015 season Sept. 4 against Western Michigan.
