City of East Lansing offices will close several offices on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
The offices closed include: East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing Department of Public Works, the East Lansing 54-B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library, the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, the Prime Time Seniors' Program and the childcare program at the Bailey Community Center.
The community center and the public works department will be closed on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, as well.
Refuse and recycling will be collected on Monday, July 6, instead of the normal time on Friday. Bulk items and yard waste collection will not be collected on Monday, July 6.
The East Lansing Family Aquatic Center on 6400 Abbot Road will still be open this weekend, weather permitting.
