The top stories from the week ending June 5.

This week saw the conclusion of the Meng Long Li trial, who was found guilty on two of the three charges against him for assaulting MSU student Yan Li at a karaoke bar during the 2014 Chinese New Year. 

On Sunday, the East Lansing Farmer's Market will open every Sunday until Oct. 25. 

Earlier in the week, the East Lansing City Council approved two measures. One was to allow the CVS pharmacy on 240 M.A.C Ave. to be open 24 hours and serve alcohol until 2 a.m. and the other was to approve the construction of a new apartment complex.
