A motorcycle clipped the side of a minivan on Friday evening after the rider lost control and fell off. The accident was east of the Grand River Avenue and Division Street intersection across from Bubble Island and The Peanut Barrel.

"The rider of the motorcycle just has minor injuries, nothing life threatening at all, and nobody was injured in the van," East Lansing police Sgt. Chad Pride said.

Five police vehicles and EMS were on the scene. The accident occurred just six days after a motorcycle rider and passenger were killed upon colliding with a vehicle at the Albert Avenue and Durand Street intersection.
