Next Monday will see the start of a major construction project on Abbot Road, between East Saginaw Street and Burcham Drive, according to an East Lansing Police Department statement.
Construction will occur mainly at night, between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. in an effort to minimize traffic disruptions.
However, "a complete closure will take place for one week in the latter part of the project, between Whitehills Drive and Saginaw Street, for the replacement of an entire cross section," the statement read, although the exact date and times are yet to be announced.
Also in the statement, it was announced the construction project on Bogue Street will wrap up on Wednesday.
