Thursday, May 21, Potter Park Zoo is holding its Wine and Stein event, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., for local residents 21 and over.
The event, held at the zoo, costs $30 for zoo members and $35 for non-members, the zoo’s assistant education curator, Jennifer Horvatin, said.
The event will feature various wines and beers, as well as hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, Horvatin said.
Horvatin said event-goers will be able to walk around the zoo after hours and see all the zoo’s animal residents, who will be out for the event.
“It’s kind of a fun kick-off to summer,” Horvatin said.
According to the event’s Facebook page, the zoo will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday in order to set-up Wine and Stein.
