East Lansing residents at the MSU Recycling Drop-off give their take on recycling and its importance.
—This Saturday will mark the City of East Lansing's annual recycling and spring clean-up event, Recycle! East Lansing.
The event has run for nearly two decades and is a time for residents to recycle objects that may otherwise be difficult to recycle, according to the event website.
It will take place at the Abbot Center on May 30. Acceptable recyclables include electronics, common household items and household appliances, such as washing machines and dryers.
Customers of the Lansing Board of Water and Light are eligible for a $25 rebate for operable air conditioners and dehumidifiers.
Volunteers are needed and any interested can volunteer online.
