MSU receives a commitment from three-star tight end

April 26, 2015

The Spartans have their seventh commitment in the class of 2016 and fourth out of the state of Ohio. Three-star tight end Noah Davis announced his commitment via twitter a day after the MSU spring game.

"I am very happy to announce that I have officially committed to Michigan State University to further my academic and athletic career! #MSU," Davis said.

Of course nothing is official until national signing day but the 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end joins quarterback Messiah deWeaver, wide receiver Justin Layne and linebacker Joe Bachie—who are all from Ohio.

It is early in the recruiting process but a majority of the class for MSU now consists of kids from Ohio. Several high-quality football players come out of the state every year and the Spartans are making their presence felt in a fertile recruiting zone.
