East Lansing police release photos of "persons of interest" in shooting

February 13, 2015

In hopes of identifying two persons of interest, the East Lansing Police Department released surveillance photos of two men entering the 7-Eleven convenience store across from the Grove Street Parking Garage on Feb. 5, shortly before the homicide occurred, according to a police statement.

Though these persons are not regarded as suspects, they might have important information about the Feb. 5 parking garage shooting that fatally wounded one DeWitt Township man and injured another, East Lansing police Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth said.

Wriggelsworth encouraged anyone who has any information on the identities of these individuals, or anyone who was in the 300 block of Grove Street on Feb. 5 and might have witnessed part of the incident, to contact the ELPD at (517) 351-4220.

"It's a week old today and we've been pretty much working it non-stop (ever since)," he said.
