In the middle of the night, an unknown vandal spray-painted 'Go Blue' on the Spartan statue.
The graffiti was quickly cleaned up by Infrastructure Planning and Facilities officials after they received a complaint around 8 a.m. Monday morning. By 10 a.m., Sparty was clean.
The beloved statue was vandalized around the same time last year, painted overnight on April 20, 2013.
