April 22, 2013

Amid the scurry of final exams, hip-hop legend Ghostface Killah will make a pit stop in the Lansing area.

The Wu-Tang Clan member will perform April 30 at The Loft, 414 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing. The show is a part of his “12 Reasons to Die” tour to promote his ninth studio album, “Apollo Kids.”

Accompanying Ghostface Killah is Adrian Younge , who just released the music video to their single, “Rise of the Ghostface Killah,” to coincide with the tour.

The.Black.Opera., an artistic collective specializing in music and visual art, will perform as well.

Ghostface Killah’s previous solo album, “The Wizard Of Poetry,” featured collaborations with hip-hop heavy-hitters like Kanye West, as well as R&B artists such as Ne-Yo and John Legend.

Tickets cost $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door. For more information, visit theloftlansing.com.
