The Animal ArtVenture Community Reception will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Lansing Art Gallery, 119 N. Washington Square, in Lansing.
The reception will celebrate MSU alumna Kate Cosgrove’s art exhibition at the gallery.
Alumna’s artwork to be put on display
Her current exhibit is meant to expose young people to her illustrations and thrives on the opportunity to show a display of whimsical art pieces. Her artwork contrasts miniature illustrations with large-scale productions.
The exhibition will run from Friday until June 23.
