E.L. film series hosts movies every week

The East Lansing Film Society will be showing "Junebug" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hannah Community Center. The film is a dramatic comedy about a new wife meeting her husband's family for the first time. "Junebug" was director Phil Morrison's debut film. The film is rated R and runs for 107 minutes. General admission is $7; students and senior citizens get in for $5.

The film will also be showing at Wells Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Admission at Wells Hall is $3 for students and $6 for all others. The film is part of the ELFS Film Series, which features a different film every Thursday night.
